Frequently Asked Questions

If there are any questions you have that are missing below, let us know.

How does pricing work?

Our pricing page gives a guideline of our general pricing, however, many factors go into our price quotes.  Some of those include the financial maturity of business owners and processes, the number of owners, the complexity of the business(es), the number of business structures, among other factors.

This is a Business-to-Business agreement which is billed directly to the business.

What is the 1st Year Boot Camp and how do I know if I need it?

The 1st Year Boot Camp was developed for those businesses whose financial processes are immature and need developed.  We have found that many small businesses have never written a business plan or identified goals, have inadequate bookkeeping and virtually no financial reporting aside from their tax returns.  In our experience these businesses need much more support and education so the resources needed in the 1st year are much greater than the ongoing services.

How do I begin?

Typically obtaining a quote takes at least 2 complimentary meetings with IEFS.  The first meeting can last about 30 minutes and is meant to understand your situation and pain points.  The second meeting can last up to 2 hours, where we dive deep into your financials, business processes, goals to gain a complete understanding of your needs.

After those meetings, we will give you a quote for service.

It all starts with clicking the SCHEDULE A COMLIMENTARY CONSULTATION button.

Will you work with my CPA or am I required to work with your CPA partners?

We may be able to work with your CPA but we also have CPA partners that understand our processes and the way we work.  In order to evaluate working with your CPA, you will need to provide their contact information and let them know we will be in touch so they can discuss your situation with us.

Can you provide support in the event of an audit?

IEFS will support you in an audit as much as possible, however, in an IRS audit situation your CPA will need to be the main support.

What else do I need to know?

IEFS is a single member firm, which means availability to onboard clients is limited.  We can typically only have approximately 4 clients in the 1st Year Boot Camp at a time and we can only onboard 1-2 clients per quarter.

Do you file personal or business taxes for me?

We are not a CPA firm and do not file taxes, nor do we give tax advice.  Any strategies we recommend must be reviewed with a tax accountant before implementing.  We will work with your CPA or one of our CPA partners to ensure they file your tax returns timely and accurately.

Do you pay my business bills and/or invoice clients?

We do not, but we will work with your staff to ensure they are adequately trained and have the most efficient processes available.
